Just when T.I. thought he was out, they pull him back in.

Less than 24 hours after he was released early from an Arkansas minimum-security prison, the King of the South has been remanded back into federal custody due to an "issue" with his mode of transportation to an Atlanta halfway house.

So what was the hitch?

T.I.'s attorney, Steve Sadow, tells E! News the luxury coach that chauffeured the No Mercy on his 375-mile journey back to the ATL, complete with entourage trailing him in black SUVs, didn't apparently pass muster with prison officials. So the authorities decided at the last minute to have T.I. serve out the remainder of his probation-violation sentence at an Atlanta pen instead.

"We are awaiting the opportunity to quickly resolve whatever the issue may be that the Federal Bureau of Prisons has with T.I.'s method of transportation, bus, from Arksansas to Atlanta, so that T.I. can return to the halfway house to complete the remaining days of his sentence," Sadow said.

The legal eagle declined to comment on whether there was alcohol or drugs on the bus or whether there was an issue with the VH1 reality series the musician began shooting as soon as he got out of Arkansas' Forrest City facility. (A rep for the Dismas Charities Halfway House told TMZ that cameras wouldn't be allowed into the facility when he does finally show up.)

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website, T.I. (whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr.) is now listed as an inmate at an Atlanta federal prison and isn't due to get out now until Sept. 29, the day of his original release.

A prison rep declined to comment on the situation.

The Grammy winner, on probation for an illegal weapons conviction, had been approved for early release this week and tweeted to fans yesterday that "it feels great to be back where I belong."

Guess he spoke too soon.

With several high-profile politicians cooling their heels at Coimbatore central prison, the jail complex is attracting a steady flow of visitors.

Prison officials claimed that with over 600 people visiting daily, the city jail drew more crowd than the Coimbatore zoo or other attractions in the city.

“The number of visitors has almost doubled ever since the political bigwigs were lodged in the prison. More than 400 persons queue up, on a daily basis, seeking permission to meet the high-profile DMK leaders in the prison. As the crowd is steadily growing with every passing day, it has become really unmanageable for us,” said a prison source.

Of the 600-plus visitors, more than 200 are sent back due to lack of time as only three visitors can be allowed to meet a prisoner at a time, for half-an-hour.

From morning to noon, the DMK bigwigs, including former minister Veerapandi Arumugam, meet party cadres in the prison.

INDO-PAK TIES?: 252 Indian fishermen languishing in Pakistani jails!

There are 252 Indian fishermen in the jails of Pakistan, an issue which was raised by external affairs minister S.M. Krishna during the meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Hina Rabbani Khar here last week.

Pakistan has arrested 156 Indian fishermen in last seven months and 100 in 2010, minister of state for external affairs Preneet Kaur said in a written reply in Lok Sabha.

She said 454 Indian fishermen have been released by Pakistan in 2010 and 103 in 2011.

High-profile Tihar inmates express fear on jail van travel - Agencies.

After former telecom minister A. Raja, other high-profile Tihar prisoners including sacked Commonwealth Games OC Chairman Suresh Kalmadi have expressed fear of attack by other undertrials inside the crowded jail van during their travel for court hearings.

Kalmadi's plea was given consideration by special CBI judge Talwant Singh, who directed the jail superintendents 'to explore the possibility of transporting Kalmadi and others to the court on dates of hearing in a separate van and communicate its decision in this regard on July 21'.

The other co-accused in the case - OC former director general V.K. Verma, OC former secretary general Lalit Bhanot, OC former officials M Jaychandran, Surjit Lal and ASV Prasad - also voiced similar fears before the court.

One more criminal complaint was lodged with police against Sun Pictures Chief Operating Officer Hansraj Saxena as a court remanded him to judicial custody on expiry of two-days police custody in a cheating case.

Salem-based Shanmugavelu of Murugan Films filed the complaint with K.K. Nagar Police here alleging that Saxena owed Rs 42 lakh to him and was intimidating him when he demanded its return, police said.
