Having been bifurcated into two after its misadventure of 1971: Pakistan (once West Pakistan) and Bangladesh (once, East Pakistan) – after massacring 3 million East Pakistanis just to deny the right of their leader to rule the whole of Pakistan in the election and after oppressing them for decades. With such troubled conditions in their country scores of millions of East Pakistanis entered India as refugees in early 1970s, crippling its economy; as if it weren’t enough the Pakistan chose to bomb Leh Airport and Jammu in a midnight attack, forcing the otherwise pacifist India into a full-scale war only to surrender to it, unconditionally.
With the loss of revenue from East Pakistan, which is now an Independent Bangladesh, Pakistan started the business of Islamic Facilitation, to augment its revenues: Islamic Nuclear Bomb, Islamic Missiles, Islamic Revolutions, Islamic this and Islamic that, thus abusing that noble religion to no end. Countries like Saudi Arabia, Emirates, and several other Asian and African countries supported it in this racket. China and USA too have seen merit in standing-up Pakistan as a counter to India, except unlike Pak-US relation has always a ‘love-hate’ one, while China-Pak relationship has proved to be an all-weather one. Later with the obsession of exterminating Communism from the face of this Earth, US has started partnering with Pakistan in all nefarious activities through its collaboration between CIA and ISI and Pakistani Military Establishment, to destabilize the communist regime in Afghanistan. (Even if no one had tried to throw out the communist regime there, it still would have collapsed along with the Soviet Union, which would have saved the World so much of the misery, which it underwent till now).
What started off as countering communism ended up in raising degenerate forces like Taliban, Al Qaida and a host of other splinter groups. Pakistan on its own, on the side, has raised LeM, LeT and such others to smuggle terror into India. Some of them like that of Osama bin Laden’s Al Qaida held US as responsible for trampling the aspirations of many Muslim nations and also causing death and injury to many Muslim Citizens, across the Globe.
And thus when, Osama’s disciples perpetrated 9/11 attack on the twin towers of World Trade Centre, USA needed to avenge it and arm-twisted Pakistan to become its partner in the so-called ‘War on Terror’. Pakistan, under Gen. Musharraf, more than willingly conceded the demand, to ward of it being branded as a Terrorist State, as was being demanded by India at that point-of- time but, the bulk of the Pakistani ISI and the Military Establishment has been resentful of this sudden turn of events. Even after occupying Afghanistan, US couldn’t snuff-out the perpetrators of air-dashing of the twin towers and the war against terror stretched beyond all expectations, thanks to the unfamiliarity of the US troops of the terrain as apposed to their opponents, the native hill tribal war lords.
After Pakistan’s turnaround as an accessory to USA, against Islamist Terror groups, the hardliners of them started inflicting sever damages to its G.H.Q., Schools, Hotels, Masques and many public places, without a rhyme or reason, as they have been conditioned and motivated to doing elsewhere, hitherto.
Now with this double whammy of it being the original exporter of terror and simultaneously being the victim of the same terror, the Pakistan has been living in an illusory world of its own, wanting the World to believe its innocence of all terroristic activity on its soil. Now, Kasabs, Headleys and Ranas spilling the beans, they still want the World and of all, India to believe that they had nothing to do with 26/11, Mumbai Attacks or several such other attacks in the past. If they believe that by repeating a lie thousand times, it would become a reality, they are really living in a paradise of their own, only fit for fools to live.
