India's Lesson: Why US wouldn’t let go of Pakistan’s hand, in a hurry!

Kindly read "Mayhem of the Miserables!"@ http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/52075

India and or Afghanistan Leadership may wish that US troops be permanently stationed in Afghanistan, lest the Talibani forces may retake the Afghanistan, which, however is not acceptable to any party, concerned.  All the same its continuum for eternity is not acceptable to the families of the war victims and the presently stationed soldiers along with several Asian countries.  Despite that US cannot exit from the region before it secures relative peace, acceptable to it, including future threats against its citizens in the USA and outside.

For the scores of thousands of its troops – both combatant and support – its needs the Pakistani land supply  rout, which is not possible without the active protection of the Pakistani Army, as this rout is the most troubled  tribal region of the Af-Pak border.  For this rout alone, US doesn’t mind spending a few billions of dollars, a year.

And like USA’s economy thrives on the trade of armaments, the Pakistani economy too is heavily dependent on the business of sheltering, training, arming and exporting the terror.  And it doesn’t mind making an extra buck on the geographic exigency of the US.  While the Chinese technical support helped Pakistan in building its infrastructure including bridges, dams, Nuclear Plants and the like, it is the American dollars that, actually, fund these projects.

Due to its Islamic Republic stance, Pakistan will continue to harbor international terrorists on its soil and Saudi will continue to fund such activities and USA will continue to sail with both.

So, whatever be the damning evidence the trials of Rana and / or Headley bring out, or for that matter whatever else is brought by such investigations, trails and evidences in India or elsewhere, US is not going to abandon Pakistan, especially the CIA is in no mood to let go ISI.

So the question of India persuading USA declaring neither ISI as a rogue entity nor the Pakistan as a Terrorist state doesn’t arise.  India needs to reframe its strategy towards Pakistan, independent of the that of USA.
