Two years after Michael Jackson's shock death, the mystery over exactly how he died continues to fuel legal wrangling, conspiracy theories and family strains over the King of Pop's clouded legacy.
While fans are expected to pay their respects this weekend - including by dropping red roses from the air over his famous Neverland ranch - many questions remain over his death on June 25, 2009 aged only 50.
His personal doctor Conrad Murray is still awaiting trial on manslaughter charges for allegedly giving Jackson an overdose of powerful sedative propofol to help him sleep on the fateful morning at his Beverly Hills mansion.
The trial was to have started in May, but has been delayed until September after his defense lawyers - expected to argue that Jackson effectively killed himself - said they need more time to prepare.

Tunisia’s former autocratic ruler, whose ouster triggered a series of Arab world uprisings, went on trial in absentia Monday in the first of what will likely be a long series of court proceedings five months after he went into exile.
The Tunis Criminal Court is hearing two embezzlement, money laundering and drug trafficking cases against Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.
It follows the discovery of around $27 million in jewels and cash plus drugs and weapons at two palaces outside Tunis after he flew to Saudi Arabia on Jan. 14.
Ben Ali, 74, vigorously denied the charges in a statement through his French lawyer, calling the proceedings a “shameful masquerade of the justice of the victorious.”
Five public defenders have been assigned to Ben Ali and his wife, Leila Trabelsi, who is accused in one of the two cases in Monday’s trial.

Saudi Arabia the asylum provider of all deposed cruel African Dictators will never extradite this rogue back to Tunisia!

Pakistani policemen escort arrested paramilitary Rangers and a civilian, their faces covered in blankets, to an anti-terrorism court in Karachi on Friday - AFP.

A Pakistani anti-terror court agreed on Saturday to hear murder and terrorism charges against six soldiers and a civilian over the killing of an unarmed man in a park that shocked the nation.
Paramilitary Rangers shot dead Sarfaraz Shah, 22, in Karachi on June 8 after he was accused of robbery and his family has demanded justice, insisting he was an innocent student.
The killing was filmed by a television cameraman and subsequently broadcast around-the-clock on national television channels.
Public prosecutor Arshad Iqbal Cheema said: "We have formally charged the six Rangers personnel and a civilian for murder and terrorism and have submitted our charge sheet to the judge of the anti-terrorism court.
"The court has accepted the charge sheet and approved it for formal hearing."

It seems the Pak Troops are showing their rage against the innocent Pakistani citizens, which they should be showing against the mad terrorists, who have been indulging in mindless murders!
