Rejecting the allegations levelled against JSW Steel in the Karnataka Lokayukta report, the Sajjan Jindal-led firm on Thursday said it was “appalled and concerned with the untenable conclusions” drawn in the report.

Giving its rebuttal on allegations of seeking favours to get iron ore mining leases and other illegal actions made in the report, the company claimed itself as an aggrieved party that had not been allotted a single captive mine despite being the biggest investor in the State.

“However, it is not looking at taking legal recourse for now but it may do so in future, JSW Steel's Joint Managing Director M.V.S. Seshagiri Rao told journalists here.

He, however, evaded direct answers to questions on his firm's transactions with former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa's sons, son-in-law and other family members.

When asked about the accusations of paying excess money to former Mr. Yeddyurappa's sons for buying an acre of land, eventually which triggered resignation of the BJP leader, Mr. Rao claimed that the company paid market price and was willing to make its sale deed agreement public.

Mayawati had accused the NCW and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of acting as political.

Chief Minister Mayawati's battle with central rights bodies over the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh intensified after her government denied permission to the National Commission for Women (NCW) to hold a public hearing on the alleged cases of atrocities in the state.

Chairperson Yasmin Abrar said on Thursday that the NCW was not allowed to hold the meeting in the state capital. She said that the NCW team would now leave for Lakhimpur Kheri and Sitapur.

Now, probably, NCW has to get a Court's permission to conduct the enquiry!

With Delhi Police refusing permission for day-long hunger strike at Jantar Mantar tomorrow, civil rights activist Anna Hazare today decided to shift the venue to Rajghat to avoid confrontation.

The announcement was made by his associates Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan and Kiran Bedi, while contending the denial permission to hold peaceful protest was against the basic Constitutional rights of citizens.

Hazare and others will launch the day-long hunger strike to protest the crackdown against Ramdev's congregation against corruption at Ramlila Maidan on Saturday night. The Hazare-led protest will be held in the vicinity of Rajghat from 10 am tomorrow and will be accompanied by fast, an all-religion prayer meeting and a debate on Lokpal Bill.

This is in protest against what mayhem had been perpetrated at Ramlila on the fateful Mid-Night~

Indian Terrorist denied bail by Court!

Self-styled, Swami Aseemanand, Yesterday, was rejected bail by a Court.

Aseemanand a self confessed, terrorist who engineered Ajmer Dargah, Blast Case, was send back to the judicial remand and his case will again come up on May, 14.

This Terrorist, sometime, back - due to change-of-heart - has confessed to have organized Hyderabad's Mecca Masjid blast and also confirmed his knowledge of bomb attacks on the mosques in Malegaon (in 2006 and 2008) and  bombing of the Samjhauta Express carried were carried out by Hindu radicals.

An innocent Muslim youth, wrongfully detained and charged for the bombing of Mecca Masjid, had taken care the health of Aseemanand, when they both were spending time in Hyderabad.

This act of Humanity of this Muslim Youth led him to repentance and confessed to his involvement and saving this boy, from being wrongly jailed, for life or even death sentence.
