SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Two drone strikes in 24 hours killed two dozen militants in South Waziristan on Monday.
Mere hours after a drone strike targeting a van, killing 12 militants in Kung Ghalai area of South Waziristan, another drone strike in Mantoi area of Tehsil Sarwakai killed 13 suspected militants.
The drone fired four missiles targeting a suspected hideout of militant commander Adam Khan, a collaborator of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan chief Hakimullah Mehsud.
It is unknown at this point whether Mehsud was present at the facility at the time of the attack. Some sources claimed that Mehsud had been spotted in the area.
Local sources said that the death toll could be higher.
Express 24/7 correspondent Iftikhar Firdous said that Adam Khan had set up training facility for the Taliban.
