Police are investigating the alleged abuse at a house in the village of St Peter am Hart.

Police in Austria have arrested a man suspected of imprisoning and sexually abusing his two daughters in his village home over 40 years.

The man, now 80, denies the abuse, which allegedly began when one girl was aged 12 and the other four.

Police say the case was reported in May, when the daughters escaped after one reportedly knocked over the father as he tried to rape her.

Now aged 53 and 45, they were both found to have "mental deficiencies".

Austria's Die Presse newspaper says there are echoes of another Austrian case, that of Jozef Fritzl, who is serving a life sentence for imprisoning and raping his daughter, fathering seven children with her.

There was no mention of any children being fathered in the new case.

'Threatened with pitchfork'

A social worker found the alleged abuser who had been lying on the floor for two days, incapacitated by his fall.

Oz man sentenced to 18-yrs in jail for molesting his kids.

A 67-year-old Australian man was on Tuesday sentenced to 18 years in prison on charges of brutally molesting four of his children for a 14-year period.

The accused, who was not identified, committed a 'shocking array' of sexual offences against three of his stepchildren and one of his biological children, the Victorian Country Court heard.

One of the man's eight children, who is not a victim in this case, will appear before the same court later this month charged with sexual offences against another generation.

"That is your dreadful legacy," the judge told the man while sentencing him to 18 years in prison with a non-parole period of 15 years.

The accused pleaded guilty to 35 sex offences including incest, indecent assault, carnal knowledge of a child under 10 and gross indecency.

A long-lost father and daughter in the UK, who reunited through a family-tracing website, will be sentenced to jail after starting an illicit sexual affair 'as boyfriend and girlfriend'.

Office worker Nicola Yates, 26, tracked down her real father Andrew Butler, 46, through website Genes Reunited.

The pair discovered that they had been living just streets apart in Birmingham for years and got together after two decades apart.

But it was claimed that when they met again for the first time, Yates, who was 20 at the time, enjoyed a 'highly charged, emotional reunion' with her father, who at the time was in a relationship with another woman nearer his age.

Suspicions were aroused about the pair when she began to spend more time with Butler and developed more intense feelings for her natural father.

Relatives were later horrified to discover the young woman and Butler had become illicit lovers.

The daughter and father were arrested in September last year after her family alerted the police.
