The Kendriya Vidyalaya at Kanjikode in Palakkad, Kerala, was besieged on Tuesday by parents expressing anger at a plus two teacher who cut their children’s hair as ‘punishment’.
The agitated parents became calm only when School principal Nilayini assured them that departmental action would be taken against Pradeep Ravindran who teaches commerce for 11th and 12th standard students.
The teacher tendered an unconditional apology to the aggrieved students.
