SRIKAKULAM: After completion of the five-day Cycle Yatra, launched in protest against proposed Kovvada Nuclear Park in Ranasthalam mandal of the district, members of KNP Vyatirekha Porata Samithi on Monday submitted a memorandum comprising opinions of the Sarpanches, Mandal Parishad heads and locals to Ranasthalam mandal special officer during the grievance cell programme on Monday.
Speaking to media at Ranasthalam Tehsildar office, nuclear scientist Surendra Gadekhar said people have realised that the proposed nuclear park will pose a threat to the environment and health of the locals.
