In the wake of the income tax raids against superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal, the 400-member strong Film Producers’ Association has written to every actor charging over Rs 3 lakh a film saying that there will be no more black money transactions.
“If we don’t tighten things now, it will be the producers who will be in trouble,’’ said Mr Sabu Cherian, the president of the Association.
Mr Sabu said the producers were only trying to revive a decision taken last year.
