The changes were announced by Governor Surjit Singh Barnala. The swearing in ceremony will be held on Monday.
In her second cabinet reshuffle since her government took over in May, Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today dropped Law Minister E. Subbiah from the Council of Ministers and re-designated some others, including Food Minister Agri S.S. Krishnamoorthy.
While Information Minister G. Senthamizhan has been given charge of Law, Courts and Prisons, Personnel and Administrative Reforms and prevention of Corruption, hitherto held by Subbiah, Kadayanallur MLA P. Chendur Pandian has been inducted into the cabinet as Minister for Khadi and Village Industries, a Raj Bhavan press release here said.
