TELENGANA TANGLE: Low turnout for O.U. Students' fast!

July 11: The poor turnout for mass hunger strike on Monday came as a jolt to the Osmania University Joint Action Committee.
While the OUJAC leaders blamed holidays and heavy police restrictions for the “flop show”, some students activists accused the leaders of taking the decisions in “haste” ignoring the “ground realities”.
While the original plan was to make about 10,000 students sit on the hunger strike in front of Arts College on OU campus, less than 150 students turned up in the morning much to the shock of the organisers. The number came down to 50 by evening.
