A 28-year-old man, who was beaten up in a drunken brawl by four persons in full public glare, succumbed to injuries on Tuesday.
The attack was recorded in a surveillance camera at a traffic signal on Mettuppalayam Road, leading to the arrest of the culprits.
Santosh Kumar was thrashed by the four men near a traffic signal in Saibabha Colony locality at 2 p.m. on Sunday, even as passersby watched the incident, visuals released by police showed.
