Lucknow, Jun 23 (PTI) The brother of deputy Chief Medical Officer Y S Sachan, who allegedly committed suicide inside jail, has demanded a CBI probe into his death.

"I want a CBI probe into the murder of my brother...He has been murdered", R K Sachan, elder brother of the Deputy CMO, told reporters.

"Have you ever heard of anyone hanging from his belt...My brother was innocent", he said.

The main accused in the murder of Chief Medical Officer (Family Welfare) B P Singh, Dr Sachan was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside the Lucknow district jail hospital last night after which the government ordered a judicial probe into the incident.
