New Delhi, Jun 11 (PTI) Police have apprehended a man who tried to fake his own death by killing a stranger to get his wife, whom he suspected of infidelity, arrested for murder.
Sohan (32), a resident of Town Hodal, Faridabad was arrested by a team of the Crime Branch yesterday for faking his own death and implicating his wife, police said today.
Sohan, who worked as a driver in a reputed computer manufacturing company, suspected his wife of having an illicit relationship with her relative Sonu and planned to take revenge.
He hatched a conspiracy along with his friend Chandan, to fake his death and get Lakshmi, his wife, arrested for it.
On March night, the two found a person of Sohan''s age, built and height, who was drunk and lying under Bata Chowk Flyover, Faridabad.
Why that innocent wife, Lakshmi was arrested?
