Libyan rebels help an injured comrade at a field hospital west of Misrata.

A renewed barrage of shelling by Libyan troops around Misrata has left about 17 dead and at least 60 wounded, according to hospital doctors in the rebel-held city.
Forces loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi have been pounding Misrata throughout the day.
The city is the main rebel stronghold in western Libya, and has the country's largest port.
Witnesses report no activity in the area by Nato aircraft.

With Norway scaling down its war contribution to the NATO against Libya, Gadaffi's forces only become more bold.  


Anyway, NATO bombings, which do not discriminate between the civilian and the military targets cannot be a solution.
An UN Peace-Keeping force should entre Libya to stop the incessant rapes, brutality and vengeance killings.
