Full Story at, HUBLI: Chief minister B S Yeddyurappa on Monday alleged that one lakh crore metric tonnes of iron ore was illegally exported from Mangalore port by the sons of former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda when Dharam Singh was the chief minister. The CM said he will shortly release the related documents.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for housing complexes to be built by Karnataka Housing Board here, Yeddyurappa alleged the sons of Gowda of even blackmailing Singh with regard to the "illegal export". The CM said he has enough stock to expose the Gowdas.
Launching a scathing attack against JD(S), Yeddyurappa said Gowda did not allow (former CMs) J H Patel, S R Bommai and even S M Krishna to function without interference. "Singh was the most affected. During his regime, some shameless officials took the government files to Gowda's residence. You (Gowdas) have resorted to setting fire. We will root you out from the state. JD(S) is a curse to the state," he said.
None is Saint there, as elsewhere!
