In the backdrop of a mass movement building up against corruption, Defence Minister A.K. Antony on Wednesday said India is passing through a transparency revolution, but the four pillars of democracy are not yet ready for the transition.
The likes of him give the balance to the otherwise shaky ship of UPA, what with so many scandals on swindles. If he speaks, the powers that be, takes note of his 'say' for, he still carries a great integrity, credibility and honesty.
He has been that one youngest CM of Kerala who resigned, twice, for good - assuming moral responsibility - when his government faced with allegations of excesses; the first time resignation was good 34 years ago. In between I haven't seen any CM or Minister to have followed his precedent.
Even Pakistani Security establishment respects him, for his honesty.
