Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Saturday claimed that the government had agreed to his demands to declare black money as a national asset and take action against those who had stashed money abroad but added that his fast will end only when he gets a written assurance.
If it were true and if the Government formally declares Black Money as a National Asset and it is brought back, I consider my plea of aligning forces even with the Hindu Radicals is worth it.
When Jains, Muslims, Sikhs joined this Satyagraha, our opinionated elite didn't had any objection.
I, personally, don't had any objection even if Hasan Ali, A. Raja, Maran & Kanimozhi support this initiative as, this is a National Cause and none should indulge in petty politics. Even Hindu Radicals do have a right to participate in a National Cause.
Our elite are not only ready to express their skewed views but also insist on their right to do so, vehemently. But they need to study Voltaire to be able to be tolerant to even their bitterest enemies, while allowing their right to express their own views.
