• Dubbing Baba Ramdev as a ‘saintly dressed corporate personality’, the DMK on Tuesday demanded a probe into the financial activities and accumulation of ‘huge wealth’ and properties by the yoga guru.
  The party, a crucial ally of the Congress at the Centre, also proposed a debate of all parliamentary parties before the Monsoon session to discuss the issue of bringing back black money stashed in foreign banks.
  "There should be a thorough probe into the financial activities and accumulation of huge wealth and properties by Ramdev and all about his trusts," DMK Parliamentary Party Secretary Adhi Shankar said in a statement.

01)  The allegations against Ramdev are no news and have been on the public domain for the last several years.  

Both Central Government and the State Government of Uttarakhand have chosen not to investigate till a few days ago, for the reasons best known only to them.

02)  Has DMK, suddenly, woke up to this issue?

Is this DMK campaign against the already sullied Ramdev going to help them in saving their leaders, presently in jail or those who would be going in in future, for the national loot of public exchequer, under 2G Spectrum Scam??

03)  I hold that every political party has not a 'right' but 'responsibility' to raise voice against all forms or corruption.

But, doing it on selective basis is not acceptable;

This, however, doesn't mean I oppose the ongoing investigations against Ramdev & Bala Krishna.
