Kanimozhi's Bail petition has been rejected by the Delhi High Court on the grounds that ' sufficient evidence to show criminal conspiracy'. The Honourable H.C. also rejected the bail-plea of Kalaignar TV, Sharad Kumar, on the same grounds.
This time around the reason for bail application was that she has a very young Son, whom she needs to look after. But the Honourable Court hasn't seen any merit in that argument for sanctioning bail, on that ground due to, the overwhelming evidence produced by CBI against her alleged acceptance of bribe of Rs. 214/- Crores out of the National loot of 1,76,000/- Crores through 2G Spectrum scam.
Kanimozhi's mother, Rajathi Ammal, the 2 nd. Wife of DMK Chief, K. Karunanidhi broke down at the court.
T.R. Balu the Sr. DMK Minister of UPA has announced that they would approach the last resort, the Honourable Supreme Court of India.
We have to wait and see what final stand will be taken on her Judicial Custody at Tihar Jail.
