VHP demands registration of case against Agnivesh! Why do you give fodder to the likes of VHP???

Jammu, May 21 (PTI) The Vishwa Hindu Parishad today demanded registration of a case against social activist Swami Agnivesh for his remarks on Amarnath pilgrimage which, it said, had hurt sentiments of Hindus.

The VHP also demanded recall of Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra, who is also chairman of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, for his failure to take action against Agnivesh.

"We urge President Pratibha Patil to recall Vohra over his failure to take action against Agnivesh for his anti-yatra remarks," VHP state head Ramakant Dubey told reporters here.

I do not subscribe to the fishing-in-the-troubled-water  tactics of the Viswa Hindu Parishad.  I personally share most of the concerns of Mr. Agnivesh, but I do not appreciate his penchant for indulging in rabble rousing acts, especially hurting the sentiment of any religious belief, for as long as it doesn't hinder the progress of soceity!
