United, Telangana leaders talk TUF (‘Telangana United Front’)!

Brickbats, Bouquets & Backfeeds are welcome on prmadhura@yahoo.com

Political parties and organisations from Telangana are readying to come under a single umbrella organisation in the form of the ‘Telangana United Front’ in case the Centre does not concede to the demand for separate statehood by the first week of June.
Sources say that people’s representatives of the Congress, the Telugu Desam, the Telangana Rashtra Samiti, the CPI and the BJP, hailing from Telangana will resign their seats and their parties and join the ‘TUF’ to continue the fight for separate statehood if the Centre does not act favourably.
The senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member, Mr K. Kesava Rao, is said to be the mastermind behind the move.
Reliable sources say that Mr Rao met T-leaders like Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao (TRS), Mr Suravaram Sudhakara Reddy (CPI), Mr Nagam Janardhan Reddy (TD), Mr Bandaru Dattatreya and Mr Ch. Vidyasagar Rao (BJP) on the modalities to float ‘TUF’ to fight for the statehood cause.
Discussions were also held with Telangana Lawyers’ Association president, Mr Rajender Reddy, the Telangana Doctors’ Association president and Dr Narasaiah, the Telangana Engineers’ Association president.
This talk of united action has been there for quite sometime but it never materialized due the internecine rivalry among the 'T' leaders;  will this happen now?  If it happens 'Telengana' is bound to happen!
