Relations between the CIA and Pakistan’s powerful spy agency ISI, strained by recent events including the killing of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in a US raid, have now been repaired, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Sunday. "In the back drop of recent incidents, relations between the CIA and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) were strained but now they stand repaired," Gilani said while interacting with a small group of journalists.
Both spy agencies had a decade-long relation of intelligence cooperation and it could not be damaged by one or two incidents, Gilani said.
"Both the agencies are sharing intelligence," he said.
Yes, Yes, a minor irritant like US violating the Soverignty to kill Osama bin Laden wouldn't affect the relations between the two Intelligence Agencies. The rest of the threats, sulking and all are only for public consumption.
